Setup FileDrive on Mac

How do I access my remote desktop drives from my local computer?


If you do not have the latest version of the program installed, you can download it by doing the following:

Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner (1) and select About this Mac (2).

Note which macOS version your Mac is running (3).

Open the following URL: https://www.filecloud.com/additional-downloads/

Scroll ned til Drive (4) and choose FileCloud Drive for Mac (5).

Depending on your macOS version, choose the appropriate Download and install Fuse… (6, 7).  

Open FUSE for macOS (8) on your desktop.

Click on FUSE for macOS (9).

Click Continue (10).

Click Continue (11).

Click Continue (12) and then Agree (13).

Click Install (14).

Click Close (15).

Choose whether to keep (16) or delete (17) the install file on your Mac.

Return to the How to install FileCloud MacDrivesite. Depending on your macOS version, choose Use the updated drive app from this link (18, 19).

Drag filecloudmacdrive2 (20) to Applications (21) double-click on Applications (21).

Double-click on filecloudmacdrive2 (22).

Click Open (23).

Enter the following information:

Server URL (24): https://filedrive.hosit.dk
Account (25): your email address
Password (26): your password for the remote desktop.

Click Map Drive (27).

A folder will open containing the folder Shares (28). Here you have access to your remote desktop drives.
