How do I install applications on my remote desktop?
Installation of applications on the remote desktop is not allowed. Therefore, it requires administrator privileges to install.
There are several reasons for this:
- We must ensure that the program is licensed.
- We must ensure that the program does not interfere with or make noise for other users or applications.
- We must ensure that the necessary policies underpin the use of the application eg. according to GDPR.
What do I need to do to get a program installed?
If you have a program you would like to install, it must be approved by what we call supreme authority. A supreme authority is a person with the rights to approve such changes, eg. a manager of your company. Afterwards we will complete a risk assessment before we can install the program.
